You take climate action, fight for social justice or protect the environment. You reflect on yourself, because to heal world, you need to heal yourself. No matter how – in big or small steps you’re trying to make our world a better place.

But sometimes it’s hard to get your message across or even to find clarity for yourself!

I am here to support you – with drawings!
My name is Marie-Pascale Gafinen and I am an illustrator, an excellent listener and expert for sustainability. I offer custom illustrations, live drawing at events and visual sensemaking workshops.

My Services

Illustration

With my illustrations, I create new images in the head of your targetgroup. Abstracts concepts become tangebile and easy to understand. Things that happen far away or in the future move closer in an image. Once visible, your message can also provoque an emotional response, the key factor to make people take action. A concept or story that was explained visually will remain in the memory of your audience.

Graphic Recording

Graphic Recording is a visual method to support groups. During events, meetings or discussions I visualize spoken content in real time and in a large format. The drawing gives your participants a great overview, inspires new perspectives and sparks new discussions. After the event it serves as a visual documentation – a result that participants refer back to.

Generative Scribing

Generative Scribing is a special form of Graphic Recording where I focus on the highest future potential of a group, the unspoken that wants to come through. I observe the atmoshere in the room, the dynamik and emotions of the group and tune in very closely. By visualizing, what I sense, I help the group grasp what is already there, but not outspoken yet.
